Watching a set of pool balls come flying through the air simultaneously and knock an equal number of large men unconscious was quite possibly one of the sexiest things Cassandra had ever seen in her young life. Xavier was lethal in such a casual way and it was such a turn on for a weirdo fuckup like herself. And that advice… shit it really would have been funny to see the dipshit flip the table. “I was aiming for the bikers, but maybe I’ll try that next time.” Dammit, she really wasn’t supposed to like him, but he was making it nearly-impossible not to. Must try harder. Luckily the fight itself was a perfect distraction, as she seemed to be the main target of Ass Grabber and Friends.
Xavier seemed to only stir up their anger more, but at least he expressed remorse for it. Err… sorta. Cass laughed despite herself. A fight was not something that she would ever shy away from. “Careful, Princess, or I might start actually liking you. Maybe even enough to forgive you calling me a bitch…” At least the ‘bitch’ thing had been indirect, but it had still happened. But that was inconsequential. Back to the fight.
A trio of victims stood before her, looking hesitant to hit a woman but not hesitant enough to back down now. “Speaking of bitches…” Cass grabbed the nearest weapon, the pool cue she’d been using earlier, and began to twirl it off to her side like a bo staff. The balance was a little off since it was obviously much thicker on one side, but she adjusted her grip accordingly to make it work. She was used to improvising, after all. “Who’s up first, ladies?” There we go, hesitation gone. All three charged her at once. It was almost a fair fight. They left themselves wide open though. A sidekick to the ribs brought the first one’s head down enough for Cass to easily strike him in the temple with the broader side of the cue. He dropped to the floor. The second one at least kept his boxing guard up. He got a couple of jabs in that she easily dodged, but then she swung at the side of his head. It connected, hitting him so hard that the end of the cue snapped off in her hand.
That would prove especially troubling considering that the last guy seemed to have gotten wise and was coming at her with a broken beer bottle...

Xavier couldn't help but to laugh. "So you're saying there's gonna be a next time? I knew I liked you for a reason....other than the fact that you're sexy as hell," he said. He laughed again, so at ease about the whole situation that it seemed there was no danger involved at all. But then, in everything he did, he always remained cool and calm. Or in this case, laughing and having a good time. "Uh huh, I knew you liked me," he said, but then her next comment caught his attention.
"Really?!?" he asked, flustered. "The way you've been talking to me all night, and you feel like you need to forgive me for calling you a bitch? Really?" he said, chuckling the whole time. He noted her twirling the pool cue then, with perfect form. "Damn good training," he said under his breath. He wondered then, oddly enough for the first time despite seeing what she was capable of earlier, where she'd trained. But she was good, damn good. The guys weren't so well trained, just a common rabble of big men who thought their size was enough to intimidate someone the size, and gender, of Cass. They thought wrong, because she clearly wasn't intimidated in the least. Xavier winced a bit when the pool cue crashed against the second guy's head, breaking the cue. Damn! Not only was she good, she was freaking strong too. Easily underestimated in most of her fights, he figured, until the fight started anyway. "I'm impressed," he said as the last guy came bearing down on her with a broken beer bottle.
Xavier picked up one of the striped balls and spun it in his palm, then reared back like he was going to throw it. The big guy noted that and skidded to a stop, nearly dropping the broken bottle. It was the perfect opening for Cass to attack, but Xavier laughed as he threw the ball. It looked like it was going to be off target, but curved at the last possible second and smacked right into the big man's groin. He went down with a loud thud. Xavier picked up the broken cue and looked to the bartender. "I'll get you a few new cues, Titty City," he said with a shrug. She returned the shrug. She didn't own the place after all. He turned back to Cass. "That sidekick was one hell of a set up move. I may have to steal that," he said with a smile.

He liked the idea of her getting into multiple barfights? There’s a twisted individual for you. Still, Cassandra found herself nodding and even smirking when hearing his comment about liking her. “Don’t get too attached. I’m Trouble.” Now she was flirting with him? Something was seriously wrong with them both. As far as the general population goes, people were better off staying far away from her. Was that the reason for her generally sour demeanor? A psychologist might think so, but to Cass that was just the truth of who and what she was. Not someone that most people could, or would even want to, handle. Yet all of the things that sent the average guy running for the hills seemed like they were a turn on for this guy. Interesting. Though he did complain a little bit when she wasn’t terribly thrilled about being called a bitch. Cass rolled her eyes. “If my words bothered you that much, you wouldn’t have been following me around all night long or offering to buy me drinks.”
Xavier helped her take down the last guy. Not like she’d really needed it, but it was the thought that counted. They’d already had a decent amount of fun. And between the two of them, they’d taken out eight guys. Not half bad, if she did say so herself. It was one of the most entertaining fights she’d been in in a long time. The last guy was sucking wind pretty hard after that shot to the groin, so Cass stepped on his back as she made her way back across the room to the bar. After dropping a decent amount of cash on the table, she grabbed a mostly-full bottle of tequila and took a drink straight from the bottle. “Well that’s only fair since I plan on using that table flip thing you told me about. And that curve shot the next time I play pool…” She’d be reminded of that handsome face every time, too. And those eyes… Shit. “Well, I think that guy over there in the corner called the cops, so I’m outta here.” With the bottle of liquor, of course. Tequila was her sleeping booze.

"I like trouble...in case you hadn't noticed," Xavier said with a laugh and a shrug. He wasn't the normal type of guy, to be sure. He didn't mind the chase, but usually he didn't have to go through the chase. Women seemed to flock to him, so when Cass didn't exactly just leap into his bedroom, that caught his attention. And Cass? Well she wasn't exactly the average woman either. Xavier found that he liked that, possibly more than he even thought that he should. But damn it was fun. This had been a fun night all in all. From the assassination to the drinking and playing pool, it was a great night. Sure, they'd gotten into a bit of trouble here, a tussle at the bar, but that was nothing to Xavier, and it was standard practice for this bar. The Hole in the Wall saw more fights than most bars in the entire city, and more often than not, Xavier was either involved, or the perpetrator of the whole thing. Hell, a few times he'd start the fight and bet on who would win. That was fun too. Maybe that would be what he did next time the two of them got together. "I promise you I've been talked to worse before. It's nothin', babe." He knew that she didn't need the help with the last guy, but it was more along the lines of Xavier knowing the bar, and knowing that someone would soon be calling the authorities. It was best to finish the fight off and hightail it out of there. Apparently, she had the same idea. This was an entertaining fight, but they all had to come to an end eventually. He watched as she dropped some cash on the bar and took a bottle of tequila. One drink from it she took, but he figured she'd take it with her when she left. "Fair enough," he retorted with a smile. "Just remember to put the proper english on it when you hit the cue ball." She didn't need the advice. He figured that she had the shot down once he'd shown her how he did it. She seemed a quick study. He was already looking forward to the next time they'd meet. She was fun. Xavier looked at the guy in the corner, and he knew that Garret was one of those who would call the cops. "Yep, yep he did. Until we meet again, Roxanne," he said with a smirk. Until we meet again....... --end thread--
