History:
Robin was born and raised in a small midwestern town, the youngest and only daughter to a couple who was struggling to keep a roof over their head. Her father was the town's mechanic and her mother wrote an advice column for the local paper. When she was nine years old, her mother became the first victim to a serial killer who was never caught. The devastation of her death spurred Robin's lifelong obsession with sniffing out stories; she's convinced the killer could have somehow been caught. Robin was always charismatic, a born superstar involved in the theater programs in both her school and the community. She would have made a wonderful actress if she wasn't so intent on pursuing journalism. After high school, she left the small town to attend university to study journalism then landed a job in the city as a field reporter. After several years of working as an award winning reporter for a large network, she left in favor of a job that paid less but was ripe for adventure. Of course, perks of the job include working with her long time best friend and cameraman, Ryan.
