Born on Earth, Jason didn't know that his father was actually an alien. So he grew up thinking his father had abandoned him and his mother, which left him with abandonment issues. He joined the military when he grew of age, and quickly rose in rank due to his hard work, take no prisoners attitude, and quick, concise action. On a leave one weekend, he was approached by a man claiming to be his father. The man gave him the flight ring, and used the last of his life force to bestow Jason's powers and understanding of the flight ring on him. Jason has since joined the Galactic Guardian Corps.
