“What I was watching were the insides of my eyelids. Would have gotten a decent nap in if I hadn’t been so creeped out by her calling you ‘daddy’.” Honestly, she’d never understood the appeal of that for either partner involved. Did the women really want to fuck their fathers? And vice versa? Cass had had several father-figures in her life, and was sexually attracted to exactly zero. She would never want to even think about someone she wanted to fuck in the same way as them. Two completely separate things. At least her anger and this odd little conversation were distracting her from paying too much attention to Xavier’s nude form. Not that it would lessen her anger, but she didn’t want to be pissed off and horny at the same time. That never ended well.
There he went asking for her opinion. Like it really mattered. He’d do whatever the fuck he wanted regardless of what she thought. He’d made that painstakingly clear. They weren’t partners or even friends. Still, he’d asked. If she refused to speak with him, it would probably just amuse him more. She would keep it strictly professional. “In general I’d say no. Put a bullet between her eyes so she doesn’t tell anyone she bumped into us. Especially since you’ve been throwing my name around.” Did he really have to use her real name? She didn't remember him calling her that once the first time they'd worked together. That was irritating in itself, but luckily for him he’d given her plenty of other things to be angry about tonight. “It depends on what your end goal is. If all you needed was the pitiful amount of information she gave you, then shoot and get it over with. You already have the address, so you know where he’ll be. If you think you could find out more by sending her in, then do that.”
She took another swig of the bottle, remembering little tidbits of the one-sided conversation she’d heard this woman having over the phone earlier. The reason she’d bothered to follow the woman in the blue dress in the first place. “Personally, I’m a little curious about this cute little group of hers and what their ‘cause’ might be. If it’s relying on information from this guy you say is an idiot, though, I guess they can’t be major players.” Perhaps the woman would be baited into spilling some additional information, perhaps not. Cass didn’t really care either way, she mostly just wanted this to be over with. Her attention went back to the purse.

Ha, ha, ha, ha.....yeah the whole "daddy" thing didn't really bother Xavier at all, but he understood how it could bother others. It's not like that was the sexiest thing any woman had ever called him, but it didn't make any difference. People were out there though that enjoyed it. If you needed proof, just go to any porn site. Xavier could tell, though, that she was deflecting a bit, and he was sure to make a show of the fact that he was still wearing nothing, moving around, walking back and forth between the two women, a subtle glance at Cass and even a wink here and a sly look there. It may have seemed like he wasn't paying attention to the job, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Xavier was damn good at multitasking. He couldn't help that he was just having a little fun at the same time.
In truth, her opinion did matter. It was likely that he would do whatever he wanted to do, but that would honestly just be to fuck with her a little. He gave a small nod, and another, then a slight head tilt. "You've got a point," he said, looking at Cass. Without looking at the woman on the bed, he turned his gun arm back at her and pulled the trigger. A single bullet struck right between the woman's eyes, and she'd see no more. "You know she was actually pretty good," Xavier said off handedly. Seemed a shame really. "I think going in myself would be the better way of getting any other info I need," he said as he turned his full body back towards her, setting the gun down on a dresser behind him. This hadn't really gone to plan, or rather, he'd embellished on the plan more than he'd intended to, but what little bit of intel the woman in blue could give he knew now.
He took the bottle from her and a long draw later handed it back. "Good stuff," he said with a smirk. "I agree that the group can't be much. But simple fact, I don't like looking over my shoulder. Usually....," he said. He'd looked back a few times at the cracked open closet door, hoping to catch a glimpse of Cass' face, to get some sort of read on her, but even with his advanced eyesight, she avoided his gaze. A smile crossed his face and he looked around the room. "You know, funniest thing....," he paused for a few moments. "When I came in here today, I could swear I was wearing pants."

Huh. Xavier actually killed the chick. Expressed a little remorse about it, but he’d done it. “Hey, I offered to leave and let you get in round two,” she said with a shrug. It wasn’t her fault he’d killed the woman before he’d been fully satisfied. As long as he wasn’t expecting her to volunteer her own services for his personal satisfaction, she didn’t particularly care. Not like the thought hadn’t entered her mind, but at this point she had no intention of following through with any of the more lascivious thoughts she’d had regarding him. She refused to give him that satisfaction just purely based on stubborn principle. “Not usually, huh? But you enjoyed looking back at me while you fucked this girl? Kinky…” Some people liked being called daddy. Some people liked being watched. She briefly wondered if he’d been imagining it was her instead of the other girl. What difference did that make? Absolutely none, but there was definitely a part of her that liked that possibility.
Normally Cass was not the kind of person who would just allow her precious bottle of alcohol to be taken from her. It was his place, though. His alcohol. That meant the rules here were slightly different. Honestly though, the cabinets were fully stocked so he could have just gone to grab his own bottle. She knew good and damn well that wouldn’t have been as much fun for him. He was having too good a time flaunting his nudity in front of her. The fact that he actually brought it up verbally was just further verification. She smirked. “They’re in the hallway I think. Pretty sure they were one of the first things to go.” The woman in the blue dress just couldn’t wait to literally get her hands on him once they’d gotten to his place.
“So what time is this meeting you’re going to? I assume you want me to keep watching your back until this is all over?” He hadn’t dismissed her yet, so she figured he still wanted her around for a bit. Once she’d taken the alcohol back and taken another drink from the bottle, she pulled the last item out of the purse: the woman’s phone. “Hmmm…” She stood up, sliding past him and approaching the corpse on the bed. Her hazel eyes took a moment to soak it all in before laughing and shaking her head. “You’re one cold motherfucker. Remind me not to piss you off.” Hell, even if she didn’t make him angry there was no guarantee he wouldn’t try to take her out one day. Someone could hire him to do it, and there wouldn’t be much she could do if he caught her off guard. She took the dead woman’s right hand and pressed her thumb to the phone. Access granted. Fuck yeah. She started going through the woman’s text messages. “Hmmm looks like 7 o’clock.” That gave them a couple hours before he’d need to be there. “Guess that gives us time to get rid of the body?”

"Yeah, you did....no biggie," Xavier commented and shook his head. He'd had better, but she was pretty good though. Anyway, it was time to get on task, and Cass had brought up a good point about hiding the body. Unfortunately this wasn't Mooncrest. There, they could just toss the body into a dumpster and no one would ask any questions. Hell, you could likely do that right in front of a cop and then share a few jokes with the cop. That place was hell, and even Xavier didn't want to go there, despite his skill set. He took a few moments lingering on that thought, completely ignoring her comments about him looking back at her, except that he did hear her say kinky. Of course he heard that....
He couldn't help but laugh about his pants in the hallway. He went and looked, and yes, that's where they were. He slid them back on and walked up to her and looked at the texts with her. 7 o'clock then. That gave them time for sure. Not enough time to do what he was thinking about, of course, but time nonetheless. Getting rid of the body would be easy enough though. "Just give me a few minutes," he said as he hefted her body up over his shoulder. "Make yourself at home." He went downstairs, checking his corners to make sure no one watched, and into the basement. If she still had the earpiece in, she'd be able to hear him. "Got some acid stashed down here, enough to destroy her body completely. No traces left. Had to smuggle this shit in here, wasn't easy."
After a few minutes of dissolving the body in the acid, Xavier made his way back up, locking the door to the basement behind him, and on up to his apartment again. Without a word, he made his way to the bathroom and disrobed again. The shower water turned on and he started to step in before shooting back at her. "Feel free to join me." He knew she wouldn't, or at the very least expected that she wouldn't. But he left the door open anyway. He truly had no shame at all.

“I’m impressed you managed to somehow get a vat of acid into an apartment complex at all, much less stashing it somewhere like the basement where multiple people might have access.” He had balls, that was for sure. Well, she knew that already. She’d seen firsthand, in fact. The guy was hot, and he knew it. It would be a while before she’d get that image out of her head. For real though, wouldn’t the apartment manager have a key or something? He must have found a way around that.
Since he’d told her to make herself at home, Cass took the precious bottle of alcohol and headed straight to the couch, laying out across it lengthwise while taking a long pull from the bottle. He came back and went straight into the bathroom to take a shower. Cass fully expected his invitation for her to join him, every bit as much as he probably expected the reaction he got. That reaction, of course, was a hearty chuckle as she lifted the bottle up once again to drain it of any remaining contents. “Pretty pretty princess got jokes.” She set the empty bottle on the floor next to her and made herself a little more comfortable on the couch, using her arms behind her head for a little extra pillow. Thanks to that empty bottle, she had a fairly decent buzz going right now so she was in a pretty good mood as she let her mind wander.
More than once her thoughts drifted back to Xavier. She really didn’t know whether she liked him or hated him, and that was an odd feeling for her. Normally people got stuck with a label early on and pretty much stuck with it in her mind unless something drastic happened. This guy went back and forth between her wanting to stab him and… well… what she wanted to do wasn’t the important thing. The important thing was whether or not she could trust him. For now, they seemed to be on the same side, but in the long run the answer to that question was probably no. For the right amount of money he would put a bullet in his own sister. They both would. That was why they were so damn good at what they did.

"Oh...I have my ways," Xavier shot back. There was a smile there, a smirk really. Cass wouldn't be able to see it, but she'd know it was there. She knew Xavier well enough by now. Probably wanted to shoot him, but that was just the effect that he had on people. No matter what, there was always an emotional reaction of some sort to the mercenary. Xavier wouldn't have it any other way.
Back inside, he was happy to see that she'd taken to the couch so comfortably. "You know I do!" he called back to her as he stepped into the shower. The water pelted down on his skin, burning down like that vodka down a throat. It felt great, especially after having had such a long day. He spent more time than he probably should have just standing there and letting the water pound down on him. Chances were that Cass would get a bit impatient. But he did enjoy vexing her so far. No reason to stop now. That's if she wasn't already about to pass out from that bottle of alcohol. He wasn't sure how much of it she'd polished off. Looking down, he could easily think of something else he wouldn't mind her polishing. A smirk passed his face again, and he finally started to lather up and wash off the grime and grit of the day, and the smell of the blue dressed woman too.
As it came down to it, Xavier knew that he would need Cass' help. He could see things in the most minute of detail, but he didn't have eyes in the back of his head. So someone to watch his back was necessary, and the mercenary had gotten by in life this far because he didn't trust many people. Despite the attraction, which he knew went both ways, and despite the banter between the two, Xavier had a strong sense that he could trust Cass. It was really just a matter of how to go through with the rest of the plan now. But that would come to them eventually. Getting out of the shower, he started to towel off and grab the essentials. Deodorant and such. He walked, naked of course, past her again and to his room to grab some more clothes. He shot her a little wink as he passed by. Had to play with her a little bit.
